Mothers Against Distracted Driving (Canada)
Save the children!!! Ban distracted driving!!! Distracted drivers are more dangerous, in some cases, than drunk drivers. Impose severe licence suspensions for those who drive while distracted. Revoke the licences of repeat offenders!
Distractions while driving include listening to the radio or stereo, talking on an in-car Bluetooth telephone, drinking coffee (or any beverage for that matter) and eating.
Ban the distractions!!! In conjunction with our crusade to stop distracted driving, we are going to lobby for the banning of all drive-through windows at restaurants, coffee shops etc. as well as the banning of cars being equipped with stereos, radios and Bluetooth capabilities!!
